HARDWOOD INSTALLATION - WHAT TO EXPECT

THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
Before the installation begins, your hardwood will be delivered to the job site so it can properly acclimate to the temperature and moisture conditions of your home. Home climate conditions are crucial to successful installation, and climate control will keep your hardwood in good shape going forward.
Our team will then move all furniture out of the room, which is a service you can arrange with us in advance. You're also welcome to do this step yourself, but you'll need to have all furniture cleared out before our team arrives.
A member of your household who is at least 18 or older should be available to greet the installation crew and show them to the work area. For everyone’s safety, keep children and pets away from the work area until the job is done. Feel free to ask your lead installer any questions you might have about the finished product. You may also be instructed to stay off of your flooring for a set amount of time to allow any stain or varnish to properly cure. If this is the case, our team will inform you.
